It&#8217;s used in large<br \/>\nvariety of tasks like user applications, science, a scripting laguage<br \/>\nand in web development. In this workshop we&#8217;ll present you the Django, a<br \/>\nPython framework for web applications. Django isn&#8217;t a CMS, blog engine<br \/>\nor wiki. Django is a set of libraries and tools which will help you to<br \/>\nbuild a web application, web service or simply a web site by your<br \/>\npersonal preference.<\/p>\n<p>Django is a FLOSS project, developed by the community and the source<br \/>\ncode is of course available. If you&#8217;re not sure if you will like it or<br \/>\nyou don&#8217;t believe us that it&#8217;s worth considering, here&#8217;s few interesting<br \/>\nfeatures:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Integrated ORM (object-relational mapper)<br \/>\n&#8211; Well developed MVC<br \/>\n&#8211; Jinja like template engine<br \/>\n&#8211; Integrated support for testing<br \/>\n&#8211; Auto-generated admin interface<br \/>\n&#8211; Support for validating and generating HTML forms from data models<br \/>\n&#8211; DB scheme migration based on changes in data models<br \/>\n&#8211; Internationalization<br \/>\n&#8211; Built-in dev web server<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the Python. What else? (:<\/p>\n<p>The idea is that in the first Django workshop we introduce you to Django<br \/>\nthrough standard tutorial and begin a talk on deployment Python based<br \/>\nweb projects to a production server.
